Lór sin do Laighneachaibh. A n-Ucht Leacain 15 Feb. 1668. The scribe writes at p. 46: 'Per me Eoghan carrach Mac Conmhail 1668'. On the previous page he says: 'A Dhia nach bhfuil píopa tobac agam: 'O God! would I had a pipeful of tobacco.'
3. H. iv. 25, 186-191, has a collection of annal entries headed as follows:
Do neithibh as ionchuimhnighthe andso síos do réir derbhtha sheinleabhar ionchreidthe gidh co n-abrad aroile go b-fuil cuid díbh brégach acht cheana ní cóir an seanfhocal do sh´rughadh. .i. gur laoidh nó litir chothaighes.In this manuscript the last five entries correspond to nos. 1-4, [i.e. 1256, 1525, 1570, 1595] 6, above [i.e. entry for 1105]. At the end is: Finit do na neithibh sin. On p. 185 are the following verses:
