[1] Airem muintiri Finn in so. .i. dechnemar ocus secht fichit rífhéinnidh a lín. Co trí nónbaruib laech la gach fior díb sin. Co ngiallcerdacht leo feib búi la Coinculainn isin aimsir hi raibi. Gan crodh do ghabhail na sárugud. Gan duini d'éra im shéd ná im biadh. Gan teitheadh ré nonbur laech do gach fir díb.

[2] Ní gabthái fer díb sin isin bhféin nó a mórdáil Uisnigh  25b1 nó a nóenach Taillten nó a féis Temroch nó go tucdais a n-aitri ocus a máitri a tuatha ocus a finedha slána tairrsib cidh in uair sin do muibfithe iad gan a n-agra. Ar dáigh ná beith a súil re nech eli dá ndíghuilt acht iad fén. ocus cid iad som do derna mór-olca gan aithi ar a muinteraib.

[3] Ní gabhthai fer díb so co mbo rífili dá leabar déc na filidhechta. Ní gabtha fer díb fós co nderntái latharlog mór co roiched fillidh a uathróigi. Ocus no chuirthe ann é ocus a sciath les ocus fad láime do chronn chuill. Ocus nónbar laech iar sin chuigi co nái sleguib leo ocus deich nimuiri atturru co ndibruigidís i n-óinfecht é. Ocus dá ngontai thairis sin é ní gabtai a bfianoigecht.

[4] Ní gabtái fós fer díb so co nderntai fuiltfighi fair ocus go cuirthi trí feduib Erenn ina rith é co tigdísim uili ina diaid ar  p.93 eiccill a gona. Ocus ní bídh aturro acht in craeb do ega. Dá rugta fair do gontai é ocus ní gabthai iar sin. Da crithnaidhidís a airm ina láimh ní gabtai. Dá tucad craeb isin choill ní dá fholt as a fhige ní mó no ghabtai. Dá minaigedh crand crín fá a chois ní gabtái. mina lingedh tar crann bud comard re a édan ocus mina cromad fó cradd bud comard rena glún ní gabtai é. ocus mina tucad in dealg as a chois dá ingin gan toirmesc a retha uime ní gabtai a bfianaigecht é.
