    lus na sláinte siridh dhamh;
    do mhaothbharr fa caomh a chéaddath,
    a naomhchrann saor géagach glan.
  2. Congain liom ag leigheas m'anma;
    madh áil leat fóir mo chorp;
    ar ndul i gclí san teagh triallaim;
    neamh re ngach ní iarraim ort.
  3. Dom throsgadh thánag-sa chugad,
    a chroch Íosa fhóireas mé;
    dod rodhalta ní dú a dhímheas,
    tú banaltra dhíleas Dé.
  4. Tú d'altrom éinmhic ar seathar
    sluagh an bheatha bheanfas locht;
    fir 's mná na cruinne fad chíos-sa
    a-tá bruinne Íosa it ucht.
  5. Duit as mharcach mac na hóighe,
    a eo corcrach na gcaor ndearg,
    bhias san bhráth ar mhuin do mharcaigh;
    tráth sguir ba fortail bhar bhfearg.
  6. A abhall na n-ubhall gcumhra,
    a chrann tortaidh na dtrí mbláth,
    do fóireadh leat lán na talmhan,
    a chlár breac ler cabhradh cách.

    ret fhiodhbhaidh chorcra, a chroch naomh?
    congain liom go leanar th'fhoras,
    a mhionn leabhar solas saor.
  8. A ghráinne áluinn d'fhiodh Parrthais,
    peacadh talmhan tú do shás;
    ba geall a chlann ris an gcánaidh
    crann tar ceann n-Ádhaimh do fhás.

    t'adhbhar-sa—más fhíor don sdair;
    fa dearg an crann do chrú a ochta,
    is tú an call corcra fa chnaibh.

    fuil a chridhe ar cuaird dar gcosnamh,

    talamh don mhuir magh don tráigh,
    's do-ghéanta féine, a chroch chéasda,
    roth gréine is éasga madh áil.

    do-ghéanta trá eadh dot aghaidh
    lá geal gémadh adhaigh é.

    dá mbeinn dod luadh go ló an bhráith
