    éantogha ar ab anta dhaoibh,
    dalta an tsaoir céadchara cháigh.
  22. Tarla ar gach chineadh dá chloinn
    go ndligheadh gan labhra linn
    cairt aga bhás druim ar druim
    a tuinn na ngrás gur fhailc inn.

    deoch shearbh do b'fhoircheann dá fhíoch
