    go roibh linn i ló an fhínné
    a radhalta an rí neamhdha
    banaltra thrí dtighearna.
  2. A n-altrom nír dheacair dhí
    trí branáin chláir na cruinne
    aobhdha an triar a trí dhalta
    dá riar do bhí an bhanaltra.
  3. Buime an trír-sin Muire mhór
    dá n-altrom do bhí an bhanógh
    triur i n-aoncholainn amh-áin
    nó gur aonchrobhaing anbháil.
  4. Ag inghin an fhuilt leabhair
    maith do uair a oileamhain
    a hathair i n-ucht Mhuire
    athaidh i gcurp cholluidhe.
  5. An mac do b'fheirr-de i-se
    dá oileamhain aicei-se;
    an rí caránta ar a cígh
    baránta í don airdrígh.
  6. An treas cnú don chrobhaing ghlan
    teachtaire a hucht an Athar
    fa hé a ionad a huicht-se
    Spiorad Dé ar a diadhaicht-se.
  7. Toircheas na hóighe is é an fáidh
    aice do fhuair a thógbháil;
    ag so an tí do fhóir orainn
    trí cno óir a haonchrobhaing.

    triur do hoileadh aicei-se,
    trí leannáin ler luigh Muire
    beangáin fhuil a haonmhuine.
