- Buime trír máthair mhic Dé;
go roibh linn i ló an fhínné
a radhalta an rí neamhdha
banaltra thrí dtighearna. - A n-altrom nír dheacair dhí
trí branáin chláir na cruinne
aobhdha an triar a trí dhalta
dá riar do bhí an bhanaltra. - Buime an trír-sin Muire mhór
dá n-altrom do bhí an bhanógh
triur i n-aoncholainn amh-áin
nó gur aonchrobhaing anbháil. - Ag inghin an fhuilt leabhair
maith do uair a oileamhain
a hathair i n-ucht Mhuire
athaidh i gcurp cholluidhe. - An mac do b'fheirr-de i-se
dá oileamhain aicei-se;
an rí caránta ar a cígh
baránta í don airdrígh. - An treas cnú don chrobhaing ghlan
