     p.43
  1. Creidim mar chreideas an eaglais;
    a fhir nach leanann lorg Dé,
    seol do mheanmain go múr nimhe,
    meabhraigh do rún cridhe an chré.
  2. Do bhíodhbhaidh ó bheid 'gud leanmhain
    go lá an bháis ní beag an ruaig
    ar a roimhéad théid i dtarbha
    ná léig coimhéad th'anma uaid.
  3. Cré na n-asbal an t-iúl fíre
    ar feadh do laoi ná léig thort;

    is í cheileas t'aimhleas ort.
  4. Gurab i n-aoinDia a-tá an Tríonóid

  6. I nDia Athar is eadh chreidim;

  7. 'N-a dhiaidh do chruthuigh an chruinne,

  8. Creidim i n-éanmhac an Athar
    Íosa Críosd ór ghein gach maith
    go mbí re ngach duine dín-ne;

  10. Druim ar tosach tug re a chineadh
    ar cóir nDé go ndeachaidh brat;

    do shuidh dod láimh dheis-se, a Dhé.
  14. Béaraidh an lá bhias 'n-a bhreitheamh

    ar sheal ngearr do ghlóir an bheatha;
    do b'fhearr dhóibh beatha gan bhás.
  22. Ós éigean dúinn dul i n-umhla,
