    DONNCHADH MÓR Ó DÁLAIGH cct?

  1. Trí glúine geinealach Dé
    gein bhuadha an bheatha sheinché;
    ní feas gidh úr a fhiodhach
    acht treas glún don gheinealach.
  2. Gidh mór nglún geinealach cháich
    go hÁdhamh an fhuilt ghéagthláith

  3. Córaide a chur do mheabhair
    —is sé suim an gheinealaigh—

    dá ríomh san réim ríoghraidhe.
  4. Don triur-sain a-tá d'aicme
    téid ceannas gach clannmhaicne;
    gach maicne fa thrian an trír;
    triar is aicme don Airdrígh.
  5. An aicme thrír a-tá i nDia
    treise ná tóir is roilia;
    aicme gan aga ar a neart
    an mhaicne ar aba a n-aithcheacht.
  6.  p.181
  7. An céadghlún as cóir do ríomh

  9. Creidim san chéadghlún ghrádhach,

    an glún deidheanach dom dhíon,
    geinealach úr an Airdríogh.
  10. Ionann an Tríonóid 's an triur
    —gidh bé do bheith 'n-a n-ainiul—
    Rí na ndúl 'n-a thrí treanaibh
    rí na dtrí nglún ngeinealaigh.
  11. An t-Athair mór is an Mac,
    an Sbiorad Naomh an nuashlat,

  12. Trí geine saora sochair

  15. Triar nach claoidhfidhear choidhche,
    triar nar fhás i n- aonoidhche,
    triar as lán d'iul is d'aithne,
    triur gan dál a ndealaighthe.
  16. Mh'anam ar iocht na bhfear-sain,
    an triar théid i n-éinphearsain,

  17.  p.182
  18. Ní fhuil achd aige féine

    ní heol d'fhíréan ná d'fheallsamh.
  19. Ní as fhaide ná uaidhe féin
    ní leantar lorg an fhíréin;
    fios seanAthar Dé is doiligh;
    mearachadh é d'fhiafroighidh.
  20. Sgarthain riot, a rí neamhdha,

  24. Doilghe ná déanamh an uilc
    gan an fhaoisidin d'fhóbuirt;
