a ua Chonaill chaomhGhulbon,
do gheimhil-se is lór do léan
ar shlógh seinInse Saimhéar. - I ndiaidh ar gcarad do chaill
a-nois, a Néill Domhnaill,
is é an bann dar mbreith ar gcúl;
níor am dod bheith i mbríosún. p.189 - Ní tu-sa a-mháin, a mheic Cuinn,
don chur-sa i láimh i Lonnuinn;
sliocht bhar n-iarnaigh ar fhóir mBreagh
do iarnaigh ghlóir na nGaoidheal. - An feadh nach fuil ar do thol
iomdha ó Bhóinn go Beinn Gulbon
i ndaoirsine 'ma-raon ruibh
gan shaoirsine ag aon d'Ultaibh. - A-táid eidir thuaith is chill,
