  4. A mheic Cormuic an chnis ghil,
    beir eol d'Eoghanacht Caisil
    is an tír nach fuil fúthaibh;
    sín soir is an seandúthaigh.
  5. Tighe Gall is gríosadh dhuid
    ar láthair phobuil Phádraig;
    ionnsaigh sluaigh biodhbhadh 'mun mbrugh
    do tiomnadh uain don éarlamh.

    d'fhéachain fionnphuirt shuairc do shean
