- Dorn idir dhán is dásacht;
gairid bhíos ar buanfhásolc
fulang na ndámh—dia do rath;
cia leis an ndán nach díomsach. - Mo dhán agus mo dhorn deas
dias impidheach ar mh'aimhleas;
is ollamh mho dhorn deas-sa
ag sonnadh orm mh'aimhleasa. - An díomas fo-deara dhamh
do bhualadh-sa, a bhadhbh Chruachan;
a-deir a lán as a los
"do-bheir an dán an díomas." - Mór an dásacht do dhuine
dorn thort, a thuir Maonmhuighe;
