is tráth aighthe ar Allmhurchaibh;
díorma i ndeaghaidh na meirge
d'fhearaibh díoghla díbheirge. - Do tógbhadh leo ar leirg fhódbháin;
budh séan creach dá céadtógbháil
ós laoch braoinleirge an bhragha
saoirmheirge mhaoth Mhurchadha. - Budh séan greama do ghabháil
do Mhurchadh Ú Mhadadháin
meirge thláith as neamhthláith neart
ón ráith eachbhláith ag imtheacht. - Suairg an ríoghcoinneall roimhe
d'ionnsoighidh na hiorghoile,
sróll fann re caoilfhiodhbhaidh gcruinn
crann mór d'aoinfhiodhraidh áluinn. - Is áluinn an earr mheirge
