    is tráth aighthe ar Allmhurchaibh;
    díorma i ndeaghaidh na meirge
    d'fhearaibh díoghla díbheirge.
  2. Do tógbhadh leo ar leirg fhódbháin;
    budh séan creach dá céadtógbháil
    ós laoch braoinleirge an bhragha
    saoirmheirge mhaoth Mhurchadha.
  3. Budh séan greama do ghabháil
    do Mhurchadh Ú Mhadadháin
    meirge thláith as neamhthláith neart
    ón ráith eachbhláith ag imtheacht.
  4. Suairg an ríoghcoinneall roimhe
    d'ionnsoighidh na hiorghoile,
    sróll fann re caoilfhiodhbhaidh gcruinn
    crann mór d'aoinfhiodhraidh áluinn.
