    a n-áireamh ní fhéadfaidhear,
    ní headh nach éidir gidh eadh
    seal éigin ar a n-áireamh.
  2. Leo an chuid as uaisle d'Éirinn
    clann Chathaoir mheic mhóirFhéilim
    críoch as ar mhínigh Magh Fáil
    as ghar d'fhíndigh is d'éadáil.
  3. An cúigeadh cuid do Chlár Breagh
    is comha cheathra gcóigeadh
    tugadh do chloinn Nuadhan Neacht
    leis nach loinn uabhar d'éisdeacht.
  4. Na tolcha as teirce sreabha,
    na linnte as lia éigneadha,
    's an úir as saidhbhre sealga
    fúibh, a Laighne láimhdhearga.
  5. Aoibhneas iarthair an bheatha
    i nbhar láimh, a Laighneacha,
    an ghoirmthealach fhóidshean fhionn
    's cóigeadh oirthearach Éireann.
  6. An múr ós Dhuibhlinn is dí,
    's an ráth i raibhe Ó Baoisgne,
    ráith Teamhrach fa ngealann grian,
