- Ní dhlighim aithfear ar fheirg;
toil liom ar las dá díbheirg;
níor chuir sí i n-aithmhéile inn
ní asan aithréidhe mh'intinn. - Do-rinneas—do-rinneadh rinn—
fearg nach aithreach rem intinn;
ní caigealta a chor i mbríogh,
gomh ar n-aigeanta ar n-eissíodh. - Ní cúis nach beartha a bhuidhe
m'fhíoch-sa is fíoch fir ionmhuine;
a ndéabhradh leam agus leis
is téarnamh i gceann cairdeis. - Maith séan dar síoladh an fhearg
eadrom is mac mhic Risdeard;
tonn éagbháthaidh í ar ar ndoirr
is í ar gcéadmháthair chumoinn. - D'Uilliog a Búrc níor bheag liom
