- Teach carad do-chiu folamh,
teach as ionnsa d'fholmhoghadh;
a bheith mar tá is caoi croidhe,
do bhaoi lá badh líonmhaire. - Maith fear ler tógbhadh an teach,
maith teach a-tá go huaigneach,
maith bruidhean do bhí sonna
gur cuireadh í i n-athchuma. - Conchobhar Ó Briain Bhearbha
don toigh-se fa tighearna;
rian an toighe mar a-tá
mo chroidhe im chliabh do chlaochlá. - Gé tá 'n-a hadhbhaidh fholaimh
bruidhean chúplach Conchobhair,
do bhí ag loighe ar a lár sain
a lán roimhe do ríoghraidh. - Meinic do bhí meadhair mhór
san toigh-sin a-tá ar anshógh
taraidh mé gion gur sean sinn
