    fada is beithe ar tí a thomhais

    ag breitheamh Sléibhe Si-óin
    áit an tairnge is guin an gha
    cáit i bhfuil aighne mh'anma.
  3. Ag fadádh is tigh fam thuinn
    iomdha agra nach admhaim
    trom an t-eire donm aighne
    teine i gcronn ar gcosmhail-ne.
  4. Do mhaithfeadh Críosd do chionn sguir
    a bhfuil d'fhiachaibh ar m'anmain
    mé a ndearnas budh doilghe

  5. O nach féadann fear mo ghníomh
    dul ó fhiachaibh an Airdríogh
    ní faráil dar seise sin
    meise d'fhagháil i n-aisgidh.
