    fada is beithe ar tí a thomhais
    cia thagras re Dia dhamh-sa
    nó cia admhas m'anam-sa.

    áit an tairnge is guin an gha
    cáit i bhfuil aighne mh'anma.
  3. Ag fadádh is tigh fam thuinn
    iomdha agra nach admhaim
    trom an t-eire donm aighne
