gach ní bhus liom-sa is lé a cheannas
ionnsa é is mar fheallas oirn. - An lá bhím ar bhreith na colla
cur rem aimhleas do b'áil lé
is ann a-tá ar tí mo leasa
rem chlí an lá bhus measa mé. - Doirbh leis an gcorp cor 'n-a aghaidh

ionnsa don truaill-se a-tá umainn
an lá fhuair-se urraim uaim. - An corp an compánach fallsa
