    do bhéaradh é dá gach fhior
    ní mé im éanar do fhóirfeadh.
  3. Daoine nach measa meise
    do fhóir Dia na daoinei-se
    'gan tí 'gá dtám i n-éigin
    do bhí a lán dom leithéidibh.
  4. Do bhí Muire Magh-da-léan
    ag déanamh locht gan leith-sgéal
    fuair tráth éigin tar a holc
    áth ar a héigin d'fhurtocht.
  5. Go bhfóirfeadh Dia ar gach nduine
    do thuillfeadh a thrócuire
    do budh lór dá dhearbhadh dhamh
    go ndearnadh Pól ón bpeacadh.
