    gan teachtaire is tigh a mbí
    nach bia ar eachtra ar dhaoinibh Dé
    sgaoilidh sé a theachta ar ar dtí.
  2. Teachtaire i ngach gclí do chuir
    ar tí ar dteactai-ne dá thigh
    íomdha dháibh thuas i n-a thoigh
    dá ndáil soin a-nuas do nimh.
  3. Aingeal re haghaidh gach aoin
    raghaidh is an daingean dúin
    is annsa ná an chonair chóir
    glóir an domhain fhallsa ar m'úidh.
  4. Gabhuid raon i n-a raon cham
    nach gaol don charaid do chom
    is iomdha slighe ghlan ghearr
    's a ceann go magh nimhe a-nonn
  5. Fa lár do leigeadh a chíos
    lámh ris an gcreideamh do chuas
    gach aon i n-ionad na ngrás
    d' fhás ón Sbiorad Naomh a-nuas.
  6. An mhéad leagair leam gach laoi
    is gearr gomadh heagail hé
    fíor-olcas a chlann do chí
    mall do ní díoghaltas dé.
  7. Ris an anmain is olc bhím
    an corp ní hamhlaidh do b'áil
    an chlí do rinneas do réir
    nach í féin mhilleas a-mháin.
  8. Beag dá ngaol do ghéabha Dia
    a séala ar a thaobh gé a-tá
    a ghlaca n-a gcosair chró
    do chosain dó maca is mná.
  9. An Coimdhe i n-ar leith do leig
    a oighre do bheith i mbroid
    ná saoil gomadh saoire dhuid
    tuig do dhaoine gaoil gá ngoid.

    do bhí an saoghal a Dhé ar dhís

    gé tám mar gach nduine dhuid
    nocha bí 'gun té nach tuig
    a chuid a Dhé bhí dod bhruid.
  17. Girre an saoghal iná sin
    sinne i mbaoghal gé do bheir
    a-tá fleadh nach táir i dtigh
    do b'áil libh gach fear fan bhfleidh.
  18. Corp neich 'n-a aonar i n-uaigh
    olc dá shaoradh beith mar bhím
    a mhéad as meise mé féin
    ag béin do threise a Dhé dhínn.
  19. Go saorar ar chur id cheann
    mo shaoghal ó bhun go barr
    do ghreim-se gé leagar liom
    eagal i gcionn treimhse tall.
  20. Sinn ar ndís ar n-iompódh uaibh
    go n-iompóm a-rís dod réir
    dul i dteagh a-tá n-a láimh
    an lá as áil le gach fear féin.

    gan fhás dom anam do b'fhearr
    níor chúitigh mé bior na mbonn
    trom é is mo chion 'n-a cheann.
  22. A oighre 's an truaill i dtaoi
    an Coimdhe a thruaigh ar do thí
    ní fhuigheadh acht dá áis é
    sé ag cuireadh an bháis do bhí.
  23. Féaghaidh a bhfuighe dá n-ulc
    a dhuine ré ndéanaimh locht
    gan t'fhagháil dá réir is reacht
    's a theacht féin dá fharáil ort.
  24. D' fhagháil Moire ní heol d'fhior
    an croidhe do ghleodh go glan
    muna thúirear teachta ar neamh
    teagh leaptha ag an Dúileamh dhamh.
