- 1 Ní mé bhur n-aithne, a aos gráidh,
2 ná sginnidh re sgáth seachráin:
3 fúar dár seisi im ionad ionn,
4 spiorad mheisi nach maireann. - 5 An dóigh libh, a lucht m'fhéghtha,
6 nach taidhbhsi a ttruaill aiértha,
7 nó spiorad anma fhallsa,
8 tarla im ionad agamsa? - 9 A aithne as éidir dhamhsa,
10 sibh gan fhíacha oramsa:
11 dá mbeth cás fám ég oruibh

15 as eadh tharla am ainmsi ann,
