- 1 T'aire riomsa a rí ó nUidhir,
2 égnach cáigh ní cuirthi a suim,
3 an uair nach éisde ret fhilidh,
4 a éisge shluaigh chinidh Chuinn. - 5 Iomdha agam, a fhir chumtha,
6 cás égnaigh, dá n-éisde rinn;
7 dá mbeinn dod ghnúis dreachnáir diomdhach,
8 is cúis neamhcháir t'innlach inn. - 9 Fuarus, a rí fhréimhe hUidhir,
10 fearann Corráin na ccíoch ngorm
11 ód ghnúis tonnghlain ar lí lasrach,
12 gan ní ar tolmhain d'aslach orm. - 13 Gidh eadh, atáid ar tí ar mbuana,
14 buidhne iomdha, a ua na ríogh,
15 ag cur um cheann d'aonghuth uile,
