    ó'd-chí aidhbhle mh'fhíorchumhgaigh:
    reic mh'inmhidh, nárab leasg libh,
    imdhigh bhú-dheasd is deibhthrigh.
  2. Tuig mh'urchóid re hathaidh,
    luathaidh féin fear h'iomachair;
    ná bí a bhfad, dá bhféadair libh,
    ná stad go féagain bhFínghin.
  3. Aoibhinn duit dul dá fhéaghain,10 
    a bhille bhig bhoirbsgéalaigh,11 
    is é do bhreith oirbh as mh'uchd,12 
    is bheith ar th'fhoirm ag amharc.

    nó a ccruth airdreannaigh aieóir,15
