- Labhair linn, a Mhuire Mháthar,
suidhigh sinn sa rícheadh,
ná tar am aghaidh lem fhéichemh,
labhair damh fad dícheal. - Léig an freagra as fhearr red t'fagháil
leam ar eagla an ainiúil;
sinn ar n-ég dhuit nábadh doiléir,
a chruit na ttéd ttaidhiúir. - Do bhaoi do dhaonnacht fam Dhia-sa
ad naomhchorp naoi míosa;
as tú an t-ionadh fhuair na grása,
a thruaill iodhan Úosa. - Beir m'anam, a àgh, ó shechrán,
ná labhair glór guthchlaon;
saor mé mar nach dual óm dhrochrún,
a ghruadh ar ghné subhchraobh. - Saor mo mhóid agus mo mhionna,
a Ógh gan bhaos mbanna;
cuid dod thréd gan innremh orra,
