ca baili a ngeib a forbais? - Fata itáthar ica thríall,
ragar, tiagar, do-cúas ríam,

ó ré áenfhir can anfháth. - Indisfeat dóib, is eól dam,
in leath bearar in slúaigead:
do neoch fo-cheard doman de
a mbreith a ndúrthech n-úre. - Is hé do-tháed ar a cend,
atheach dúaibseach dub a drenn:
atchí cách ní fhaicend nech
a Dé, nírb inmain duibdrech. - Atchondarc anné 'ca thriall
óclach isa túaith sea thíar;
rob fhiú a chomthrom d'ór buidi
