is lór dhíbh bhar méad do rígh,
ní tharla an grádh ar tí h'uilc. - Mór na tiodhlaicthe fuair tú,
do damnaigheadh don tnúth inn;
ní comhairleach ort an grádh,
ní hionann is mar tá rinn. - Do rinne Dia grása ort, —
ní tusa an bocht lán do phén,
ní chluinim h'osnadh ná h'uch,
