    sibhse slán (seól iomthnúdha),
    mise tinn ó theacht toraibh, —
    ní ceart rinn do rónabhair.
  2. Ní hionann soin is bhar slios
    'na bhfuil ionnfhuaire oircheas, —
    dom chneasghoin a-tám re treall,
    fál do theastaidh im thimcheall.

    a ghéag dán crannghal crú Chais,
