GeneralContext Base of Cross shaft, north view.
Location at the west end of the nave inside the Church.
GeneralContext Stone type: medium-grained massive sandstone.
GeneralDescription North view of the base of the Cross shaft, dated to the last half of the eighth century, first quarter of ninth century.
GeneralDescription Only the left-hand side of the north side of the base survives. It shows a figure who may have the first two fingers of his right hand raised. He is thought to be an Apostle.
