	GeneralDescription	Each panel of the granite North Cross at Castledermot Co. Kildare has a separate raised frame. The cross and base have roll mouldings around their edges.
	East	The base of the east face of the granite North Cross at Castledermot Co. Kildare has linking s spirals.
	Cross	E1 2 unidentified figures Hawkes suggests The Liberation of Saints Peter and Paul.
	East	E2 Saints Paul and Anthony breaking Bread in the Desert. A scene from hagiography. On either side of the central loaf a saint is depicted, in profile. The raven may be seen delivering the bread from heaven.
	East	E3 Three apostles...given that the other representations surrounding the centre of the cross head are similar, it is assumed that these are apostles.
	East	Head At the centre of the Cross head is the Crucifixion Beneath his arms Stephaton and Longinus may be seen, while above his arms are two angels. The other panels are similar to E3, depicting sets of 3 long robed figures.
