Location Originally stood west from the small chapel known as 'St.Columba's Shrine' and north-west from the west door of the abbey church.

Dimensions cross is now 5.3 m high, width tapers from 0.54 m at the bottom to 0.48 m at the top, and thickness from 0.26 m to 0.22 m.

GeneralDescription The East face of the shaft is divided into three panels, with bosses and serpent bodied creatures.
