GeneralContext Stone type: Medium-grained, yellow sandstone.
Dimensions 89cm (35'') in height, 28cm (11'') in width, and 35.5cm (14'') in depth.
GeneralDescription Cross Shaft fragments, dated to first half of tenth century.
GeneralDescription The upper piece appears to have two figures. On the left there is a man facing right. His hands are reaching out towards a woman facing out.
GeneralDescription The scenes are divided by a four-strand median-incised plain plait in a twist frame.
GeneralDescription The panel below has two figures facing each other. The man on the left seems to be seated in a high-backed chair and playing a lyre-like musical instrument. The man on the right is stretching his hands down and his right leg is extended forwards.
