Teaching Activities

Teaching Interests

In the Irish department  I teach undergraduate modules on language (GA 2023, GA 3023). At postgraduate level, I teach a module on writing and editing for the MAGA (GA 6001), MA in Translation Studies (GA6020), and MA in Gaelic Literature (GA 6012). I have supervised a number of MA theses in Irish and Translation Studies. I also contribute to language-related programmes outside my own school, particularly those run by the School of Modern Languages and Literatures. In the period 2009-2019 I taught linguistics modules in the MA programme in Applied Linguistics (AL 6012), and supervised MA theses in this programme.  I taught in the Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences (SL 1001) 2006-2014. I am currently on the Board of  the MA in Translation Studies, and of the BA in World Languages.
