Teaching Activities
Teaching Interests
In the Irish department I teach undergraduate modules on language (GA 2023, GA 3023). At postgraduate level, I teach a module on writing and editing for the MAGA (GA 6001), MA in Translation Studies (GA6020), and MA in Gaelic Literature (GA 6012). I have supervised a number of MA theses in Irish and Translation Studies. I also contribute to language-related programmes outside my own school, particularly those run by the School of Modern Languages and Literatures. In the period 2009-2019 I taught linguistics modules in the MA programme in Applied Linguistics (AL 6012), and supervised MA theses in this programme. I taught in the Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences (SL 1001) 2006-2014. I am currently on the Board of the MA in Translation Studies, and of the BA in World Languages.N.B. The above information has not been entered in the section 'Modules Taught' by the IRIS system. It can be verified by consulting the Book of Modules.
