BIOGRAPHY
A graduate of Boston University, I received my BA in Earth Science in May 2009. I completed a Higher Diploma in Geography with first class honours at University College Cork in May, 2010, and I completed a Masters in Coastal Zone Management and GIS at UCC in September 2011, also with first class honours. I was awarded a 3-year full fees PhD scholarship by the Geography department at UCC. My PhD research involves investigating dune morphodynamics on the west coast of Ireland using terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) and numerical modelling. My main research interests are in coastal morphodynamics, marine environments, climate change and paleo-environments, sea-level rise, the impacts of climate change on coastal and marine environments, sedimentology/stratigraphy, terrestrial laser scanning, and geographical information systems (GIS).Research Interests
