Outreach Activities

 Description

I have been a member of the School of History Schools Liaison and Outreach Committee for several years and have made numerous visits to schools in Munster promoting the study of History. As part of my outreach activities, I have been involved in organising the School of History School's Essay/Project Competition. The competition is now a nationwide event and is run in conjunction with the Department of Education and Mercier Press. I have also given numerous lectures to local history societies and other heritage groups in Munster and beyond.
