Biography
John Hough holds a BSc in Information Technology from NUI, Galway and an MA in Post Production Sound Design from University of York. John previously worked in the IT industry as a software developer and is a Senior Technical Officer in the Department of Music, University College Cork. His research interests include production and postproduction sound for screen media, in particular, the use of ambient sound design in film. From 2011-2017 he was a producer for Balcony TV Cork. He is also a content producer for IndieCork Film Festival, and has been involved in numerous short films and arts projects including:- Global Water Dances, MidSummer Festival 2017 (Sound Designer)
