•    Started importing plumbing products, working from home, in 1984
•    Grew turnover of business.
•    Entered the commercial property market in 1993
•    Entered the UK market in 1999
•    Completed MBA (hons) at UCC in 2004 and completed DBA on the teaching of entrepreneurship at university level in 2012
•    Sold properties in 2006 and business in 2007
•    Created and taught a module in Entrepreneurship in UCC 2007/13

Career History
•    Sept 2007 to date: Part-time Postgraduate Lecturer in Entrepreneurship in UCC Economics Department
•    1983 to 2007: Entrepreneur; started and exited several successful businesses
•    1973 to 1983: Worked for various employers in the construction industry, mainly distributors of heating/plumbing equipment as a salesman

Research Interests

Completing a DBA on the teaching of entrepreneurship at university level.
