Biography:
Fidelma White is a graduate of U.C.C., obtaining an LLM, by thesis, on "The Irish Ombudsman" in 1990. In 1991 she graduated from the London School of Economics with an LLM in International Business Law and, in 2009, was awarded a Higher Doctorate based on Published Research (LL.D.) by the National University of Ireland. From 1991 to 1995 she taught Commercial Law and Public Law at the University of Sheffield. She has been a lecturer at UCC since 1995 and was appointed Senior Lecturer in 2004. She has acted as a Consultant for the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment and the European Commission. Her research interests include commercial law, consumer law and public sector audit.
