Research Interests

My research is currently centred in two areas: First, my scholarship is in the area of international management with a particular emphasis on human resource management. My research focuses on the HR practices of MNCs in different host environments with a strong feature being analysing variation and similarity in the behaviour of these organisations across countries and industries. Second, I am actively researching and playing a development role in the emerging research field of talent management. A key interest has been on examining whether talent management is a discrete strategic management activity or more akin to a fad.
