Biography
Dr Allen has degrees in Pharmacy (B.Pharm, UCC, M.Pharm RCSI) and microneedle vaccine development (PhD, UCC) as well as a special purpose award in Lean Sigma (Blackbelt, MTU). He has previously worked as a post-doctoral researcher as part of SSPC research group examining the impact of excipient variability on oral solid dosage manufacture. Dr Allen has considerable industrial experience working with a number of multinational (bio)pharmaceutical companies both in Ireland and internationally in technical leadership roles. Dr Allen is experienced in drug product manufacture for biopharmaceuticals and product characterization as well as process troubleshooting. Research Interests
