Anna Golubeva

Biography

Research Interests

I am working on the cutting edge topic of complex interactions between intestinal microbiome and host physiology and behaviour.

My research is focused on:

- exploring the role of microbiota in the regulation of appetite; screening pro- and prebiotics for prevention and controlling overweight and obesity.

- investigation the adverse effects of early-life stress experience to the mental and physiological functioning of the affected offspring; and implication of gut microbiome in these changes.
