Research Profile

Christina Dillon

Biography

Christina is a post-doc researcher within the School of Public Health. Her research is looking at data linkage methodology of available air quality data and health outcomes in Ireland.
Previously, Christina worked as a data manger and post-doc researcher with the National Suicide Research Foundation Ireland. Her research focused on self-harm presentations to acute emergency departments in Ireland and associations with weather patterns.
She graduated with a PhD from the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health in 2016. The overarching aims of her PhD were to first describe patterns of physical behaviour throughout the day and week and secondly to explore associations between these patterns and cardiometabolic health.
