Her PhD thesis focused on the design and implementation of a digital health solution to assess diabetes distress in Australian general practice, using both design principles and implementation science.
Biography
Dr Rita McMorrow (she/her) is an early career academic general practitioner (GP) and Lecturer in General Practice at University College Cork. As a GP, Rita provides person-centred care for people living with chronic diseases; and her research and teaching interests align with her clinical work. Her current research includes the development and implementation of primary care models for chronic disease and mental health, with a focus on digital interventions.
