Caroline is a Lecturer in the School of Nursing & Midwifery.
PhD., MSc., BSc, hDip RMN, Dip TLHE.

Research Interests

I am currently on two research streams within the School of Nursing and Midwifery: Supporting Aging in the 21st Century (SAge21), and Mental Health and Well-being

My primary research focus is dementia, specifically young onset dementia.

Teaching Activities

Teaching Interests

Since joining the School of Nursing and Midwifery in 2014 I have actively contributed to and assisted in the delivery of research led teaching, assessment and examining on courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level as well as continuing professional development modules.
General teaching areas include Gerontology, Mental Health, communication and research methods. Specific areas include contemporary and critical perspectives in dementia, psycho-social theory of ageing and mental health of the older person.
