BIOGRAPHY
Research Interests
Research Interests include, examining Irish nurses perceptions towards the development of advanced practice roles in Nursing specifically in Endoscopy.
Previous research studies conducted identified nurses views on this concept along with identifing the barriers that ANPs may encounter or acknowledge as a significant deterent towards the developemnt of this clinical career pathway.
Interest also in the area women's health, including women's experiences of Menopause from an Irish perspective.
Gynaecological Nursing Issues such as cervical cancer and other gynaecological conditions ie endometriosis, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, fertility disorders .
Other areas of interest include Men's Health, including early detection and prevention of specific male Cancers,
