Biography

I currently work as a Lecturer and Senior Post-doctoral Researcher in the Centre for Gerontology and Rehabilitation in the School of Medicine, UCC.

My teaching contributions are primarily on the Postgraduate Studies in Dementia Programme (MSc, PG Certificate, and CPD modules) where I am module coordinator for CG6015, CG6016, and CG6018.

I also manage and collaborate on a number of research projects in the areas of dementia, Parkinson's disease, palliative care in neurodegeneration, young onset dementia, older person rehabilitation, and health services research. My current projects include:

• A Review of Diagnostic and Post-Diagnostic Processes and Pathways for Younger-Onset Dementia (Co-Principal Investigator)
• The Model for Dementia Palliative Care Project (Co-Investigator)
• Knowledge, Transfer and Exchange Project (Co-Investigator)
  
• Mapping Parkinson’s Disease needs and services in Ireland to inform service planning (Co-Investigator)
  
• MySupport Study (Co-Investigator)
