I teach undergraduate dental students practical Restorative Dentistry in the field of Prosthetic Dentistry (module RD3002). This consists of teaching students how to rehabilitate edentulous and partially dentate patients. Teaching includes lectures, group seminars and laboratory demonstrations.
At the end of the course students will be able to fabricate and construct the laboratory stages and techniques used in the construction of full and removable partial dentures.
Further teaching interests:
- I am also involved in the delivery of a number of Dental Laboratory in house courses in Prosthetics for Dental Technicians.
- Identifying training and development needs of undergraduate dental students.
- Strategies of effective HR management.
- Cross infection control in the dental laboratory.
