Eimear is a graduate of University College Cork, achieving First Class Honours in both BCL and LLM (Criminal Justice) degrees. Having been awarded a Law Graduate School Fellowship in 2012, she commenced an LLM by Research in January 2013. Subsequently, Eimear transferred to the PhD (track), progresssing to the PhD programme in January 2015. Eimear was awarded the President James Slattery Medal and Prize in Law and a Faculty of Law PhD Scholarship, before receiving an Irish Research Council Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship to fund her doctoral studies.
Concurrent with her doctoral research, Eimear has tutored in the Law of Property, whilst through her employment as a Research Assistant, Eimear's research horizons have expanded to encompass Property Law, Equity & Trusts and Narrative Theory.
Research InterestsResearch Interests: Criminal Justice, Criminal Law, Evidence, Law and Society, Law relating to Prostitution and Sex Trafficking.
Additionally, stemming from her work both as a Research Assistant and lecturing/tutoring, Eimear takes an academic interest in recent developments and the inherent complexities surrounding the Law of Property and Equity & Trusts.
