Biography

Dr. Ultan Sherman (C.Psychol., Ps.S.I) lectures in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management. He was a postdoctoral researcher in Dublin City University working on a 'tacit knowledge' project for the Irish Centre for Manufacturing Research. He also held a lecturing position in Maynooth University. He is the Co-Chair of the 21st Irish Academy of Management Conference, hosted in CUBS in September 2018.

Research Interests

My research interests lie at the intersection between psychology and work. Specifically, I have two main interests. First, the psychological contract, an increasingly prominent issue for organisations. Second, knowledge circulation in organisations and the individual factors that influence it. I am also interested in organisational socialisation and personality theory.
