Biography

I am a Research Officer at the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation.  My primary role is to develop the competitiveness of grant proposals by working with researchers and funding agencies.  I also work in the area of research integrity training and look after the main policy document in relation to responsible conduct of research: The UCC Code of Research Conduct.  My previous roles have included those of Project Manager, Programme Co-ordinator, College Lecturer and Enterprise Development Officer.  I have a PhD in Epidemiology and Public Health, an MSc in Marketing and a BA in Applied Psychology.  In addition I have a postgraduate Diploma and a Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.  Recently (summer 2019) I completed a Mini MBA.   ‍
