Susan Dawson

BIOGRAPHY

Susan Dawson graduated from the School of Architecture in DIT Bolton Street in 1998 with a first class honours degree, winning the Ormond Medal for Architecture. After working for Paul Keogh Architects for 4 years, she joined O’Mahony Pike Architects in 2003, and commenced working as a team leader in 2006.   Throughout her time in the practice, Susan has developed many projects from inception, working at a wide range of scales, in both the rural and urban environments.



 



Susan is a member of the RIAI, winning the Deirdre O’Connor Medal for Professional Practice in 2001.  She also worked as a studio tutor in the school of architecture in DIT for 5 years, and since 2010, she teaches part-time in Cork Centre of Architectural Education.



 



She has been involved in a number of competitions, including the winning entry for the Navan Civic Space Competition.
