Research Profile

Biography

Research Interests

My research strategy has three elements. The first is simply to publish as widely as possible on all aspects of twentieth century Irish history. The second is to develop my specialism in the field of the history of criminal justice within the state, with a particular emphasis upon completion of my PhD on the history of the Irish prison system. The third is to promote the study and knowledge of the Irish revolutionary period.
